After 20 years as an entrepreneur building successful start ups, I decided to alter direction as my health started to suffer. Stress is the number one cause of illness in the body, so now I share my passion by helping others alleviate stress so that they can live healthy and fulfilled lives. My process is designed to empower you and those around you to move through life's challenges with ease and clarity. Navigating todays world can be challenging, we are constantly in a heighten state of functioning and our nervous system is in over drive. In times of stress, the body releases hormones, such as adrenaline and cortisol, that increase your breathing and heart rate. An extended period of stress can keep these chemical levels high for a prolonged amount of time, which can lead to high blood pressure and inflammation.Talk to me about how I can support you in reducing stress and anxiety, improve digestion, get better sleep, and support you in clearing your mind, and find a more peaceful way of being.
I offer personal and corporate breath coaching/yoga sessions using methodologies that are designed to transform every aspect of your life. Deliberate breathing and movements improve overall well-being by promoting better sleep, reducing stress and anxiety, and developing more mindfulness. Practice is everything. All you need is 15 min per day to start seeing significant improvements in your mental and physical well being. Contact me for a free assessment for a personal or corporate wellness plan.
Breathwork is a group of exercises that teach you to manipulate your CO2, breath rate and depth. There are many types of breathwork practices, some ranging from fairly basic and easy to do at home, to others requiring a practitioner to teach you the practice. Many breathwork practices are rooted in yogic traditions such as Pranayama or the breath and movement sequences of yoga. Other breathwork practices are entirely secular and were developed to help people heal their minds, bodies, help reduce symptoms associated with anxiety, insomnia, post-traumatic stress disorder, depression and attention deficit disorder.
